Kevin Duncan

Kevin Duncan brings more than 35 years of experience in the oil & gas industry to his position as Vice President of Operations for U.S. Energy Development Corporation. In his role, Mr. Duncan oversees and manages all phases of U.S. Energy’s drilling, completion, and production operations.

 

Prior to joining U.S. Energy, Mr. Duncan held executive and management positions with private equity backed, public, and private oil & gas companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Crossing Rocks Energy where he coordinated the horizontal Eagle Ford drilling operations in Burleson County, Texas, which reduced drill days by more than 70% and lowered costs by over 50%. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Atlantic Exploration implementing a four rig program in the Delaware Basin targeting vertical Wolfbone along with horizontal Third Bone Spring and Wolfcamp. He was also the Vice President of Production for Classic Hydrocarbons where he proved up an undeveloped East Texas position by executing a vertical Travis Peak/Cotton Valley, horizontal Cotton Valley, and horizontal Bossier Shale exploitation program. Mr. Duncan has held management positions for Quicksilver, Encore Acquisition, and Range Resources managing horizontal Barnett Shale development along with conventional assets in the Permian and East Texas areas. Mr. Duncan began his career in 1985 as a petroleum engineer with Breck Operating.

 

Mr. Duncan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
